A website is basically an interactive advertisement, delivered through the internet medium, which provides the viewer (user) with information. In this relatively new, digital age, websites have emerged as the most cost-effective means to advertise and sell products and/or services. Ultimately, a website can establish presence, increase overall brand awareness, open a new line of communication to customers and potential customers, drive sales, maximize Return on Investment (ROI), and allow customers to get the information they need - fast. Every company should have and maintain a website because most customers looking for a new product and/or service will likely refer to the internet as an initial source of research.
